SAWYER BROWN

Next-Door Hero

Inspired by the lyric and sentiment of the Sawyer Brown single “They Don’t Understand,” radio stations across the nation are searching for a Next-Door Hero.   The promotion will honor a deserving citizen in selected Sawyer Brown tour markets who is going the extra mile to make a difference in the community.

According to Sawyer Brown lead singer Mark Miller, the special qualities of the song led him to want to do something different.  “Music is so powerful and I believe – and hope – that this song has a message that can really impact people in meaningful ways.  We are thrilled to be able to honor some local heroes who are exemplifying the song’s message of taking a minute and choosing to make a difference.”

“They Don’t Understand” will be on the upcoming Sawyer Brown CD, Mission Temple Fireworks Stand, which is scheduled for an August 23 release on Curb Records.

The chosen honoree, selected by the radio station, and the nominator, will both receive tickets and passes to the Sawyer Brown concert and be recognized in a pre-show meet and greet with the band.

Be sure to listen to your local station to find out when they will be looking for a "Next-Door Hero" in your area.
